NYC DOT Recognizes Odeko as an Off-Hour Deliveries Partner!
Odeko, a complete mobile ordering, and supply chain management company focused on cafes, bakeries, and coffee shops have been a partner of the New York City Department of Transportation's Off-Hour Deliveries (OHD) Program since early 2020. Odeko delivers goods such as coffee grounds or pastries for their customers to stock in their stores. They currently deliver to more than 300 locations during the off-peak hours. Odeko adopted OHD as a part of their business operations realizing the benefits to their day-to-day operations, as they continue to bring on more businesses to their unique platform. The company has also incorporated unattended off-hour deliveries (UOHD) as part of its standard delivery practice, allowing drivers to deliver goods at a secure location inside the store. UOHD allows Odeko’s business clients to be stocked before business hours, giving retail staff more time to focus on customers during business hours.

NYC DOT Recognizes Just Salad as an Off-Hour Deliveries Partner.
New York City Department of Transportation’s (NYC DOT) Freight Mobility Unit recognizes Just Salad as a partner of the Off-Hour Deliveries (OHD) program. Just Salad first joined the OHD pilot program in 2009. Since then, the company continues OHD as a part of its business operations. Just Salad, in cooperation with their transporters, have made it possible for OHD to be made at all 29 storefront locations in New York City, making them the only program partner that has all their deliveries overnight at all NYC locations, (in addition to conducting OHD at other locations across the country). Just Salad also accepts unattended off-hour deliveries (UOHD). UOHD allows businesses to deliver goods to retailers when no retail staff is available. By completing UOHD, Just Salad can have goods delivered to its locations safely and efficiently, while also reducing the need to interact with retail staff during business hours. UOHD also allows the business to be stocked well before opening hours, allowing retail staff more time to focus on the customer during business hours.
In addition to UOHD, Just Salad is committed to sustainable business practices. As detailed on the company website, Just Salad currently has plans to expand its zero-waste initiatives with its geographic footprint. When the global pandemic took hold, instead of scrapping their plans for zero-waste, Just Salad took the opportunity to expand their zero-waste food delivery models. The company also committed to keeping customers and staff safe and supporting local health workers by donating daily meals.
